Social work researcher, practitioner, and educator with seven years post-MSW experience engaging in health care and community-based organizations at the micro, mezzo, and macro level. Particular expertise in transgender and nonbinary health and wellbeing in practice and research.
My work exemplifies a reciprocal relationship between social work practice and community-driven research to improve marginalized individuals' lives. The aims of my translational research are to reduce inequities and promote wellbeing and liberation by developing affirming practice, inclusive policy, and emergent social workers prepared to work alongside communities.
